• Schmidt Steps Back, continuing the story of Schmidtie, will be published by Alfred A. Knopf in March 2012. 

• Schmidt Steps Back was published in early November 2011 in German translation as Schmidts Einsicht by Suhrkamp Verlag, which has published as well in German translation all of LB's other novels.
